Head Coach - 2024 U20 Australian Women’s Team

Lacrosse Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghan Mollison as Head Coach of the 2024 U20 Australian Women’s Team.

Meghan served as Assistant Coach of the 2007 U19 Australian Team, and recently Head Coach positions of the 2022 & 2023 Victorian Women’s Teams and 2005, 2006 & 2007 U18 Victorian Girls Teams, together with Head Coach positions of club teams including the 2022 & 2023 Footscray SL Women’s Teams; 2022 Footscray U14 Girls Team; 2005 Newport U15 Girls Team and 2003-2005 Newport U11 Girls Teams

As a player, Meghan was a member of the 1995 U19 Australian Team and several junior and senior state teams. Meghan also attended Temple University, Philadelphia USA 1996 – 1997.

“I am both humbled and excited for the opportunity to coach the U20 Australian Women's Team and enthusiastic to start working with our young athletes to prepare and develop them for the demands of international competition and to embrace the innovative spirit and values of Australian Lacrosse”, said Meghan.

The U20 Women’s Squad will undertake preparation over the next 14 months of training camps and tournaments, prior to team selection and competing at the;

2024 World Lacrosse U20 Women’s Championship, Hong Kong, China, Thurs 15 – Sat 25 August 2024
