Applications for High Performance Staff/Coaching Roles Now Open
Lacrosse Australia are excited to announce applications for seven key leadership roles in our revamped High Performance Program are now open.
The positions now open include three National Lead roles focussed on technical, operations and pathways.
The National Technical Lead role will provide oversight to the Head Coaches, providing overall technical leadership and ensuring parity across programs. The National Performance Pathways Lead role will provide oversight Lacrosse Australia's developmental programs including U20 teams as well as U18 and U16 national development programs. The National Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration and management of the Lacrosse Australia High Performance Program whilst providing valuable assistance to LA in other important areas.
These Lead roles are in addition to the Head Coach roles on offer with the initial focus being on the Field and Sixes teams. These coaches will be responsible for their respective teams with the Sixes positions leading their teams to the LA28 Olympics (with regular reviews) whilst the Field positions leading their teams to their respective World Championships with a review after Qualifiers. We note that a call for Box coaches will be made in due course.
Depending on the candidates, these roles can be fulltime/parttime paid roles, contract roles (noting potential for overseas appointments) or may be volunteers roles noting that finding limitations may lead to a variety of outcomes. Some positions may be able to be fulfilled whilst filling overseas roles, others may be able to completed remotely and some may require you to be based out of a specific city.
