2024-2031 Lacrosse Events Cycle Working Group
Lacrosse Australia (LA) is calling for nominations from suitable individuals to join our 2024-2031 Lacrosse Events Cycle Working Group (LEC WG).
The LEC WG will be charged to examine, review and provide recommendations to the LA Board regarding the LA Lacrosse Event Cycle to assist in achieving the strategic objectives of: growing membership, bidding for international Lacrosse Event, developing Member Association capacity to host events, marketing the sport and developing wider stakeholder relationships. The outcome of the LEC WG will be to provide LA with two 4 year event cycles, starting in 2024, with written report explaining considerations, assumption regarding the proposed 2 x 4 year block cycles and details explaining the reasoning of proposed events allocation and cycles.
LA is calling for nominations from people from all State Associations, with experience and knowledge of:
LA events and calendar,
International Lacrosse events, structures and calendar,
Lacrosse Event hosting,
LA strategic plan and goals, and
Experiences and involvement within National Events, either as, a player, coach, official and/or administrator.
