Call for Expressions of Interest - LA High Performance Committee

Lacrosse Australia is calling for Expressions of Interest, for suitably experienced and eager, people to join Lacrosse Australia’s evolving High Performance infrastructure.

In looking to deepen and broaden LA’s High Performance infrastructure, the Board is calling for EOI’s for the LA High Performance Committee.

For those with an expertise or background in high level sport, who believe they can help enhance Lacrosse Australia’s High Performance environment, with a particular focus on the following skillsets:

High Performance Program Manager - The candidate will have experience in working with coaches and support staff in supporting and planning of programs, with aims to continue and progress to coaching at world’s best practice. And to research and promote world class coach education and athlete management.

Athlete Wellbeing Manager - The candidate will have experience in the facilitation of counselling of High Performance athletes. The candidate will have experience in managing the process of arranging athletes with providers across a number of High Performance programs including young people in their late teens.

Strength & Conditioning Manager – The candidate will have experience in managing strength & conditioning staff with the design of athlete programs and periodisation calendars for High Performance athletes, with guidance and support to team staff to achieve outcomes.

Technology Coordinator - The candidate will have a background of video analysis platforms, and an ability to work with staff to provide data flows to support coaching outcomes, including relevant and timely data around athletes programs, statistics, game day situations and the delivery of world class video and analysis.

Performance Nutrition Coordinator - The candidate will have a qualification in Nutrition, with experience in personalised athlete nutrition plans with consideration of training intensity, training & competition schedules, and individual dietary needs, so as to optimise athlete performance.

Performance Analysis / Biomechanics Coordinator - The candidate will have experience in utilising data and biomechanical analysis to identify areas for improvement in athlete movement, technique, and overall performance. This role works closely with coaches and athletes to translate insights into actionable training strategies.

All roles will be volunteer roles but will have the ability to directly influence and assist Lacrosse Australia’s High Performance teams.
