All Applications from non-current MNTC position holders should include statements addressing their Qualification for the role and the Essential and the Desirable Criteria for the positions.

The successful appointee will assume the position responsibilities from the 1st November 2020. 
The appointment term ends on the 31st October 2022.

The administration of Men's Lacrosse officiating in Australia resides within the Men's National Technical Committee (MNTC), under the Officiating Portfolio of the Australian Lacrosse Association (ALA).

The role of the MNTC is to provide administrative leadership for Australian Men's Lacrosse officials nationally and internationally.

The MNTC administers Refereeing standards in Rules and On-field Mechanics through the provision of Training, Coaching, Selection and Assessment for ALA events, and jurisdictional support to the ALA Member Associations.

The MNTC is composed of the State-Based (SA, Vic, WA) Chief Referee's and their Deputies, and the ALA Referee in Chief (ALA RIC).
The ALA RIC coordinates the activities of the MNTC and reports to the ALA Board via the Director of Officiating.

The current two-year terms of the ALA Referee in Chief (ALARIC) will end on October 31st 2020.

The current ALARIC, Dennis Mulroney, has worked in this role since 2016. Dennis also previously held the SA Chief Referee and Deputy Chief Referee roles and is going to retire after 18 consecutive years of service to the Australian Lacrosse community through the MNTC.
