Have you ever considered a way to give back to the sport you love?  Like all sports, lacrosse requires dedicated and skilled officials to enable games to be played. ALA is pleased to realese a pathway for budding officials who would like to progress through the ranks and potentially become an official at an international level.

An example of what you can achieve as an official in lacrosse is Jan Jackson. Althouhg never having played lacrosse, her passion and dedication to the game has seen her travel around the world several times! She has had an illustrious career as an official of the game, starting way back in the 1980's as a Club official. She has officiated at every level over the past 3 decades and will again fulfill her roll as the FIL Deputy, Officiating Leadership Team (Women's Rules Chair) at the 2017 Rathbones Women's World Cup in Guilford.
