Argentina approved for full membership in FIL

The Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) has granted full membership status to Argentina and Belgium. This expands FIL’s full member roster to 34 out 58 member nations.

    After seeking advice from relevant agencies including FIL and DFAT, the ALA Board has agreed and authorised progressing with both the 2017 Women's Australian Team campaign to the FIL Women's World Cup in England and the 2018 Australian Men's Team campaign to the FIL World Championship in Israel.

    The Board will continue to monitor the situation for both events on an on-going basis to accurately assess any change in circumstances.
