The Australian Lacrosse Association Ltd. (ALA) is saddened to learn of the passing of Allan Gandy, regarded by many as Australia's finest lacrosse player.
There will be a celebration of the life of Allan Gandy on Monday 15 April 2019 at the Sandringham Club (92 Beach Road, Sandringham) from 2.30pm onwards.
Please no flowers, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Melbourne Legacy.

HEAD COACH - Call for Applications 

Applications are invited for the Head Coach position of the Australian Men’s Team.

The Head Coach will lead the program and play a key role in the implimentation of the Preparation Calendar, including ALA and FIL events;

                  2020 ALA Southern Crosse Tournament, January 2020

                  2020 ALA Maverik Challenge, July 2020

                  2021 ALA Southern Crosse Tournament, January 2021

                  2021 IWGA The World Games, Birmingham AL USA,

                                                                     Thurs 22 – Sun 25 July 2021

                 2022 FIL Men’s World Championship, Coquitlam Canada,

                                                                       Thurs 14 – Sat 23 July 2022    

The challenge includes the formation and operation of a ‘continuing Squad’ and the development of athletes on a programmed Preparation Calendar of training camps and events.

Duration of Appointment:    July 2019 – 31 Oct 2022.
