Re-Accreditation - Talent Coach

To begin the re-accrediation process you will need to to visit the ALA Education Platform and enrol in the course.

Once enrolled you will be asked to download, complete and submit the different assigment items, which include:

  1. Submit original Talent Coach certificate.
  2. Submit sign declaration from Club and Member Association or ALA - confirming the coach has been actively coaching for 2 of the 4 years within the Talent Phase of the ALA Participation Framework
  3. Submit two (2) ALA Coach Development Plan – completed from the period of accreditation.
  4. Completed three (3) of the further development opportunities under the heading “Updating Activities”. - submit evidence
  5. Be observed by a coach developer while coaching a game and training session and engage in a self-refection task

Further development and updating activties (Talent Coaches must complete three)

·  Attend formal Leadership/communication training programs (or related topics).

·  Submit Certificate outlining course completion

·  Attend a ‘related’ and ‘similar level’ Sports course eg. a basketball, netball, hockey or soccer workshop/course.

·  Submit Certificate outlining course completion and documentation, which provides an overview of each course module and learning outcomes.

·  Have become an active Club Coach Developer.

·  Submit a letter from your Club president or Coach Coordinator, confirming you have been an active Coach Developer for your Club.

·  Have become an accredited State Coach Developer for their state.

·  Submit Certificate outlining course completion

·  Have been mentoring another coach. (Been a mentor)

·  Submit letter from the coach you have been mentoring as well as the coaches ALA Coach Development Plan

·  Sport Integrity Australia Anti - Doping Course Level 2 annual updates (for each year of the 4 year accreditation).

·  Submit the four certificates outlining course completion each year of your accreditation.

·  National Integrity of Sport Unit – Match fixing Course.

·  Submit photo/screen shot of completion page or Certificate of Completion

·  Complete the ALA Level 2 Officiating Test.

·  Submit Certificate outlining course completion
